Not even rainy weather can stop Leadership Oakland Alums when they decide to work together on a project.  Our “Non-Golf Outing” with Christmas in Action took us to a residence in Pontiac that had been in need of serious clean-up (it was a jungle out there) for over 16 years!  We joined professional tree trimmers with power tools and heavy duty chipping machines and got serious about making this place a safer and more pleasant presence in the neighborhood.  The LO members that showed up worked hard and had a great time.  (Fun is never a problem at LO events.)  Our “after-glow” at Heroes was a great way to end the day—and we were all on our way home by 5:00!  See pictures of some of the team in action below.
