Join Leadership Oakland on April 16, 2008 for the fourth installment of their fortified Breakfast of Champions speaker series. Jim Croce, CEO of NextEnergy will be presenting, “Alternative Energy – What’s Next?”
Microgrids, bio-fuels, fuel cells, and wind power are very exciting, if you know what they mean! NextEnergy, a non-profit, was founded in 2002 to advance the Alternative Energy Technology (AET) industry in Michigan. As part of its statewide economic growth mandate, NextEnergy is dedicated to fostering responsible growth of tomorrow’s vital energy technology industry, while positioning Michigan as the nation’s focal point in this rapidly expanding industry segment. As President and CEO, Jim Croce manages business strategy, leadership initiatives, and government relations.
Throughout the year, Leadership Oakland holds breakfast meetings featuring experts on a variety of topics. These breakfast seminars are open to the public and offer the opportunity to hear the latest updates on issues and topics impacting our region and/or assist them as they develop personal, professional and public leadership skills. The fourth Breakfast event will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., at the Michigan State Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Rd., Troy, 48098. The cost is $30 for LO alumni members and $34 for non members and guests and includes a complete breakfast. The public is welcome. Pre-registration required.
