What is the best way to serve your community, work with other LO grads, have fun and make a difference all rolled into one? Volunteer for an LO planning committee! Each of these committees are the backbone that make sure the LO programs are current, value added, and meaningful to our participants. Leadership Oakland Committees meet are “lean and mean” in terms of the way we go about our work. We only meet to accomplish a specific goal, stick to our agenda (aside from a little kidding around now and then) and get our work done-FAST! If you are interested in learning more about one of these committees, or in volunteering for one or more opportunities today, please let me know. Those selected for committee participation will be notified by the end of August.

Meets six times per year (occasionally via conference call) to oversee and provide input into the financial aspects of the organization.

Plans activities and ideas to keep our alums involved and connected.

Meets occasionally to provide input and ideas for building our brand.
