Starting Off Right: Board Member Orientation
This two-and-half hour session is for individuals who have just joined a nonprofit board, as well as experienced trustees who have recently been elected to the board of a nonprofit. Concepts, methods, and case studies address the major responsibilities and duties of board service, with focus on areas of board governance, mission, life cycles, strategic planning, work styles, financial statements, fund raising and ambassadorship.
